SAL Update No 35

Hello you lovely lot! How are you all?

So after my absence last time (Apologies! I think I forgot that it was a Sunday. I think I might have slept through it.. ) it’s time to show you where I am with the lady.

Here’s where I was last time..

Here’s where I am now.

Not huge progress, but I’ve finally finished the wing!

My pictures seem to be coming out well today, so hopefully it’ll show you all the complexities of the stitching, and why this piece is both wonderful and infuriating.

I still have the section underneath the wing to finish, but it’s mostly the same colours as my next section.

  1. It happens! Happy dancing with you over the wing finish! With this monstrosity, you need to celebrate any little bit you can! I see where the colors under the wing are actually filling in down below too. That’s a welcome change for you!

  2. I’ve joined you in the full coverage madness!! Great job finishing up the wing. The badges are so cute, nice to see them pop as you fill in around them.

  3. Good grief… Every time you show a detail shot I thank my lucky stars I haven’t committed to something so intensive and complicated. Short attention span…. Well done on finishing that section, which was clearly visible even without the detail shot.

  4. Thanks for those close up shots. I’d never have spotted what you’ve done otherwise! It’s got to feel good to get even one section filled in solidly on a project of this size.
