SAL Update No 30

Hello you lovely lot! My how these 3 weeks have flown! It’s time again for another SAL update.

Here’s where I was last time..

Here’s where I am now.

The elusive time monster decided to play its tricks again and the 3 weeks juts ran away with me. While I didn’t manage to get as much done as I’d hoped – to finish this section – I did manage to make some good progress and I’m nearly there!

Just a couple of small bits to do and it’ll be all done. After this section, I’ve decided to work on the ‘Wings’ although I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to get done. I’m also not sure how much you’ll be able to see, we’ve got lots of cream, silvers and light purples. All the classics of invisible stitching. It might be a case of comparing it when it’s finished.

  1. Wow, I didn’t have to search at all, it was right there, poking me in the eye! I think the wings sounds like a good plan, you need a break from all that scattershot stitching.

  2. The trouble with such large project is that the amount of stitching you do does not look much whilst the same amount would be so noticeable on a tiny design. Just keep plodding along and slowly your goal will be achieved.
