Hello you lovely lot! My how these 3 weeks have flown! It’s time again for another SAL update.
Here’s where I was last time..
Here’s where I am now.
The elusive time monster decided to play its tricks again and the 3 weeks juts ran away with me. While I didn’t manage to get as much done as I’d hoped – to finish this section – I did manage to make some good progress and I’m nearly there!
Just a couple of small bits to do and it’ll be all done. After this section, I’ve decided to work on the ‘Wings’ although I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to get done. I’m also not sure how much you’ll be able to see, we’ve got lots of cream, silvers and light purples. All the classics of invisible stitching. It might be a case of comparing it when it’s finished.
There are already some amazing projects waiting for you to look at this week, with more to follow. Head over and have a gander!
Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Kate, Jess, Sue, Constanze,
Debbierose, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Helen,
Linda, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Hayley, Tony, Megan, Catherine,
Our next update is on the 30th, so we’ll see you in 3 weeks!
Much love xx
Lots of patience and careful counting lol

Well done! This is so tricky with all the colours but it works.

It really does. I do sometimes get tempted to take a short cut, but when you see it complete you know it’s worth it.

No short cuts, it definitely needs all the confetti.

Noticeable progress, indeed, I saw it immediately. 🙂 I would pick the wings next too, they sound tricky, but after all that confetti stitching, I bet it goes well. 🙂

Yea I’m not looking forward to them to be honest, but I need to roll the frame at some point so it has to be done!

Wow, I didn’t have to search at all, it was right there, poking me in the eye! I think the wings sounds like a good plan, you need a break from all that scattershot stitching.

Even more confetti I’m afraid, but I need it done to roll the frame, so counting it as a good deed 🙂

You’ve managed to do quite a bit! It is a piece which takes patience that’s for sure. Well done and good luck with the invisible stitching!

The trouble with such large project is that the amount of stitching you do does not look much whilst the same amount would be so noticeable on a tiny design. Just keep plodding along and slowly your goal will be achieved.
