SAL Update No 25

Hello you lovely lot!

How are you all finding this bank holiday? A little different to the last one eh? One thing that is the same, is that it’s time for another SAL update.

Here’s where I was last time..  img_3401

Here’s where I am now.

I can promise you a true spot the difference post today.

The reason is two fold. One, I’m getting down to the confetti portion of my current section. Things get more difficult to see. Two, I just haven’t had as much time to stitch as I’d like. Spare time seems to be avoiding me. I can snatch 5 mins here and there to do a half a round of socks, but everything else is falling behind. Frustratingly, I can’t work out where it disappears to. I’ll keep looking

There has been some progress though. The lines of the ribbon folds are now more defined with the addition of the darker colours. It’s now starting to look like what it’s meant to be, which is nice. It’s also had some outline work, which seems to bring it all together a bit more. You can see that it’s all connected, not just random blobs.

As always, now’s the time to urge you to go have a look at the other projects on display today. They’re all different, and all amazing. Go on, off with you.

Our next post is on June the 17th (I just looked the date up and realized that my birthday is the next day! Where is the time going?!?) So we’ll see you then!

Much love xx

  1. I found it even before you told us where to look! While the confetti is annoying, it is now at the point where it really is making a difference! Well done, maven if you didn’t stitch as much as you wished, Steph.

  2. I confess, I never do see the progress you’ve made until you point it out to us. Thanks for that courtesy! I hope you can locate that spare time you seem to keep losing. Sounds like we’re birthday twins, although I suspect you were born later than I. 😉
