Hello lovely Sitch-a-longers! How are you all?
3 weeks have really made the difference here. We’ve actually been given a hot and sunny bank holiday. The first one ever? I think maybe so. Anyway, While I read about everyones progress this time on my sun lounger, here’s my contribution.
Here’s where I was last time..
Here’s where I am now.
I haven’t don’t a great deal of stitching this time. Not as much as I wanted to be doing anyway. I’m not sure it’ll be visible, but I continued to work on the same section as last time.
There are a couple of closed up gaps, but also the section has got slightly wider as I’ve been completing strips that run down the length of it.
I think I’m amazed that I’m still focusing on one section. I don’t think I’ll ever understand my brain.
As usual, see the links below for the other projects participating in this SAL. I promise they’ll be delightful.
Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Kate, Jess, Sue,
Constanze, Debbierose, Christina, Kathy, Margaret,
Cindy, Helen, Linda, Mary Margaret, Heidi, Jackie,
Sunny, Hayley, Tony, Megan, Timothy
Two updates from us this month, so we’ll see you back here on the 27th for another bank holiday! Isn’t May wonderful?
Much love xx
thanks for the zoom-in . . . I’ll admit, I was having trouble seeing the difference this time ^^

I do admire your tenacity. I think in your position I’d have moved off to another area to stop my interest flagging.

Oh it does happen. Sometimes a flighty approach is best.

Yeah, I found the difference right away! I admit I am a section stitcher myself, maybe that’s why it stood out so well! You amaze me, sticking with such a monster project

I spotted the difference too 🙂 Enjoy the sun lounger! How often can we do that in the UK?

It doesn’t matter how much you get done as long as it’s progress ! Personally I really enjoy having done the bulk of the shape and then coming back to fill in the small highlights/shadows, some sort of small happy dance. You’ll have finished with this bell soon and you’ll be able to rejoice and move on to another bit !

Agreed. Wish I could have done more though. Time got away from me. I’ll get there, sooner or later 🙂

I think it’s marvelous that you’ve undertaken, and stuck with, such a big project. Any progress is good progress on something this size!
