Hello wonderful ladies and gents! Time for another SAL post!
Number 12. Jeez. I wonder how many I’ll get up to..
Here’s where I was last time..
Here’s where I am now.
Now when I look at this, even I struggle to see the difference! But I assure you lots of work has been done! My rotation has been working well where Big G is concerned. She’s having 2 or 3 whole nights to herself. No less than she deserves.
I managed to take the border outline to where the fabric is folded. This’ll give you a good idea of how far I can go before I take her off and re-roll.
I’ve mostly concentrated on this area though. There’s some filling in between the G and A, the M is looking more put together and there are some lovely colours on the edge of the banner.
Slowly but surely this banner is starting to fill out. It feels to me like when things are out of focus and/or far away. As the object is brought nearer (or time goes on in this case), it’ll get steadily more focussed until it’s perfectly clear. No? Just me?
I’m sure my buddies in this SAL will have come heaps further than me, productive bunch that they are, so make sure you go and have a look at everyones projects.
Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Kate, Jess, Sue, Constanze, Debbierose,
Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Helen, Linda, Catherine, Mary Margaret,
Next update is on the 17th, so see you then!
Much love xx
You’ve got a lot filled in round the G, and the edge of the banner really shows; I’d say you’d made a lot of progress this time!

It looks to be the same colour in the picture, but as is always the way, it’s slightly different!

I think the rotation will make a lot of difference for you! This round’s progress is so subtle, except for the edge of the banner, so I’m betting next round is much more obvious! Well done!

I hope so! I’m trying to alternate between obvious and not so obvious bits to keep myself sane.

Sometime we can feel like we have done loads and it doesn’t look much then next time you feel like you haven’t made much progress and everyone says wow – its crazy but as long as you know you are doing what you can it will be growing and it will all come together and pop at some stage and everyone is going to be amazed.

Working on the backgrounds are never as much fun as the rest of it but they are so necessary and I can see where you have worked. This is a large project! How big will it be when it is finished?

I’ve got the measurements somewhere but all I can tell you is huge. It’s going to be a long wait on this one. Maybe I should have started on something smaller..

It’s coming along nicely. I can see a difference. Next time I’m sure you’ll see a bigger difference. It’s so nice to have this record of our projects and see our progress. Sometimes that’s all we need to keep going 😀
