So three weeks have come and gone and I’m sorry to say we have very little progress this week.
Here’s where I was last time
And here’s where I am now
I’ve been emergency present making exclusively for 2 of the 3 weeks (more on that next week), so I’ve only had a couple of days to even look at Big G. Poor abandoned girl.
When I have had a chance to look at her, I’ve been working on this section.
It’s cheating really. Doing the big blocks so it makes me feel like I’ve accomplished more.
Now that I’ve organised a craft rota and finished the immediate presents, I’m hoping that I can settle into a more relaxed routine with her. It feels like fits and starts at the moment, so more steady progress will be nice.
Time for me to tell you to go away and look at the other projects on the go. We have two new members this week too! Welcome both. I can’t wait to see what you’ve been getting up to.
Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Kate, Jess, Sue, Constanze, Debbierose, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Helen, Linda, Catherine, Mary Margaret, Timothy, Heidi, Connie
We’ll see you next time on 27th where hopefully I’ll have more progress to show you!
Much love xx
I do enjoy seeing your progress on this. It’s like a “spot the difference” game, which is appropriate, seeing the name of the design you’re stitching ^^

Haha spot the difference is right! Especially when I haven’t done a lot. It’s all to keep you guys on your toes you see.

Love ‘spot the difference’. It’s easy to see when you so helpfully point it out though LOL

Ha yes maybe that’s where I’m going wrong. Maybe I shouldn’t tell everyone and offer prizes for those who can find it!

I had trouble finding your spot until you mentioned it, but that is definitely a chunk of work accomplished, and a good selection since you have been so busy with other required projects. I would have done the same!

I think I’m very good at prioritising, just need to remember to remember non priorities!

It’s not cheating at all, stitches are stitches, they all need doing, Sometimes we just need to see quicker progress on our work!

That’s true, they all need doing. That’s the other problem with single stitches, it’s not always speedy!

I’ve been like that with different projects this time round too! This is such a monster project – and it all contributes to the finish!

Progress is progress. Sometimes only the larger blocks of colour will do 🙂

It all needs to get done eventually I guess. I’m just impressed I’ve managed to not start her hair! 😆

All progress is good, and filling in is just as necessary as the fancy stuff!

Tehe you are good about making me feel better about my rubbishness.

Your rubbishness is a whole lot better than my total failure to produce ANYTHING this time round … 🙂

I guess the lesson for this month is that life sometimes gets in our way and we shouldn’t beat ourselves up about it. 🙂

Several of us have had things get in the way in the last three weeks. The nice thing about the crafts we pursue is that they wait patiently for us to come back to them. 🙂

It must be a summer thing maybe. But very true. They’re very patient!

Progress is progress. This is such a big pice that I’m sure it feels like you can’t see any progress, but we can.
Can’t wait to see what else you were working on.

all progress is good even if its only a few stitches. Don’t worry we all have times when life takes over for a while.
